Accommodation
We aim to ensure that all our students have access to well-priced, good quality accommodation, either in halls, university-managed housing or in the private sector.
Halls of residence
We have over 1,900 places in both self-catered and catered halls of residence in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Different types of hall accommodation are available at some of the best prices in the south-east.
Unihomes
An additional 300 places are available in university-managed housing in the private sector. Personal contents insurance are included in rents and all properties meet with high safety standards.
Renting in the private sector
Private landlords whose accommodation meets our requirements in terms of both price and quality can register their properties with the university accommodation service. A range of different kinds of properties are usually available to students.
Studentpad
Studentpad.co.uk provides a searchable database of property to rent and buy, covering the Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings areas. Use the message boards or access general help and advice about accommodation issues.
House-hunting days
Our house-hunting events offer you a chance to get accommodation advice and meet other students who are interested in sharing private-sector accommodation.
